Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC in Texas is seeking an infant assistant teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will help provide a nurturing, safe environment for infants, support lead teachers, and engage children in age-appropriate activities.

This role emphasizes safety, development, and family communication, including reporting on infants’ progress to parents. The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in early childhood education or infant care is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care of infants, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Engage infants in age‑appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Support lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom routines.
• Maintain open and positive communication with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s progress and needs.
• Ensure compliance with Texas state regulations and childcare licensing standards.
