The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our Preppers classroom in Ledgewood, NJ. You will plan daily activities for 2.5-3 year olds and foster language, independence, and social skills.

We value caring, energetic educators who support children in reaching developmental milestones through hands-on learning, art, music, and organized routines. NJ licensing guidelines apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred but not required.
• Experience with children ages 2-3 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support daily classroom activities for children ages 2.5-3.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions.
• Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, and hands-on activities.
• Support toilet training, meals, rest time, and daily transitions.
• Maintain consistent routines and use positive behavior guidance.
• Observe developmental milestones and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Classroom: Preppers (Ages 2.5-3)

• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
