Job summary

The Learning Experience in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Infant Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants. You will support early learning through age-appropriate activities and build strong relationships with families.

Qualified candidates have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field; one year of teaching experience is preferred. A HS diploma is acceptable with related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field is strongly preferred.
• One year of professional teaching experience is preferred; six months minimum acceptable.
• Experience caring for infants in a professional setting is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants.
• Implement age-appropriate activities supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Provide attentive care while supporting each infant’s routines and milestones.

As an Infant Teacher, you will

• Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where infants feel secure and cared for.
• Implement age‑appropriate activities and experiences that support infants’ social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Provide attentive and responsive care while supporting each infant’s individual routines, needs, and developmental milestones.
• Build strong relationships with families and colleagues, creating a warm and supportive environment where infants can learn, explore, and grow.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures, milestones, and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment while following all health and safety guidelines.

Do You

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of infants and young children?
• Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)?
• Have experience caring for or working with infants in a professional setting?
• Have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field? A degree in ECE is strongly preferred.
• Have a High School Diploma/GED if you do not have a degree?
• Have the patience, compassion, and nurturing personality needed to support infants during their earliest stages of development?
