Job summary

The Learning Experience Hampton, GA is seeking a passionate Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to create a safe, engaging classroom and deliver the LEAP Curriculum®, guiding infants and toddlers through play and discovery.

You will mentor less experienced teachers, collaborate with families, and participate in ongoing training and growth opportunities provided by the center and LEAP program. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Lead Teacher qualifications include a degree in ECE or CDA.
  • Assistant/Support roles require High School Diploma with 2+ years child experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Infant Teacher Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
  • Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  • Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
  • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
  • Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  • Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Infant Teacher Qualifications
  • Lead Teacher should have a Bachelor or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, TCC, or CDA.
  • Teacher Assistant and Support Teacher should have High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years work experience with children ranging in ages of 6 week to 6 years old.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

  • Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)?
  • Have an associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required)?
