About This Role

Kids in Motion Academy (KIMA) is seeking a caring, dependable, and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with infants and a strong commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and responsive care to infants throughout the day.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Follow each child's individual feeding, sleeping, diapering, and care routines.
• Prepare and feed bottles according to each child's feeding plan and center policies.
• Change diapers regularly and maintain proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Follow all safe sleep practices and state childcare regulations.
• Provide age-appropriate activities that support infants' physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional development.
• Plan and implement activities based on the center's curriculum and developmental goals.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress and daily activities.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily experiences, needs, and development.
• Maintain accurate classroom records, including feeding, diapering, sleep, and incident documentation.
• Work collaboratively with classroom staff and the KIMA Administration Team.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training as required.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and center operations.
• Follow all KIMA policies, procedures, and state licensing requirements.
• Assist with maintaining classroom materials, supplies, and cleanliness.
• Support the overall mission and values of Kids in Motion Academy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with infants or in a childcare setting preferred.
• CDA, Associate's, Bachelor's degree, or other early childhood education credentials are a plus.
• Must meet all applicable Georgia childcare licensing requirements.
• Knowledge of infant development and appropriate caregiving practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and responsible.
• Ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude in a busy classroom environment.
• Ability to lift and safely carry infants and meet the physical demands of the position.
• Must be willing to complete required background checks, training, and health/safety requirements.
