Community Action Partnership in Kearney, NE seeks a Teacher in the Early Head Start Infant Room to provide daily developmentally appropriate activities for babies birth to 18 months. You will lead classroom experiences, monitor development, and collaborate with families and staff to promote curiosity and growth.

The role requires a CDA with potential compensation for higher credentials; a High School Diploma is acceptable with CDA pursuit.

Qualifications

• Minimum CDA required
• Infant experience preferred
• Diploma holders may apply if willing to obtain a CDA
• Higher degrees in Early Childhood Education or related field may add compensation

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate activities for infants/toddlers.
• Implement curriculum with active learning and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Conduct initial and mid-year home visits and two parent/staff conferences.
• Maintain classroom management and lesson plans.
• Support oral health practices in the classroom.
• Model appropriate behavior in Early Head Start activities.
