Job summary

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) is seeking a full-time Early Head Start Teacher to plan and deliver education services for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years. You will work with a Co-Teacher and Classroom Aide to create developmentally appropriate lesson plans using Head Start Birth-5 curriculum and conduct required screenings.

This role requires a CDA credential or equivalent, with on-the-job training possible.

Qualifications

CDA credential or comparable credential and coursework in early childhood development with infant/toddler focus.
LHDC may provide on-the-job training to obtain credentials if needed.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and experience with infants/toddlers preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and implement education services for infants and toddlers.
Collaborate with a Co-Teacher and Classroom Aide to implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
Complete developmental, behavioral, and sensory screenings within required timeframes.
Adhere to Head Start Birth-5 standards, Indiana licensing regulations, CACFP guidelines, and LHDC procedures.
