Job summary

Family Care KIDS is seeking an experienced infant room teacher in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves providing nurturing care, guiding young children through developmentally appropriate activities, and maintaining open communication with families.

Position includes a 7:30 am–5:30 pm weekday schedule with competitive benefits and companionship of a Christian-family oriented team. Qualifications include fingerprint clearance and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Az Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• CPR/1st Aid Certification required.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent + 6 months classroom experience required.
• Ability to spend time outdoors, lift at least 35lbs, crouch/bend over, sit on the floor, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive and individualized care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
• Redirect with compassion giving child voice and choice
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor development, and early communication skills.
• Communicate regularly with families about their child’s experiences and progress.
• Participate in ongoing educational development opportunities provided by Christian Family Care
• Work with a team of exceptional educators

Classroom: Infant Room

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)

School Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Pay Range: $16 - $19/hour
