Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc. is seeking a caring, energetic assistant to join our teacher team for part-time morning and afternoon shifts in Lynchburg, VA. You will support children aged 6 weeks to 2 years with activities, meals, and routine tasks, while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of childcare experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Christian faith. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, and you must be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year childcare experience.
• Ability to work early morning and late afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

• Sit on the floor, kneel, bend, squat and crawl as needed.
• Assist with diaper changes and cleaning body fluids.
• Prepare and serve snacks and lunch.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom.
• Build relationships with families and communicate effectively.
• Attend trainings; 20 hours per year minimum.
• Ensure on-time arrival and preparedness for work.

Looking for a caring, energetic, patient, flexible, and compassionate individual to become part of our teacher team. We are dedicated to offering the utmost quality of care to our children and families. Individuals should have at least 1 year of experience with children ages 6 weeks - 2 years old. Must pass a background check. Must be of Christian faith with a passion of sharing the love of Christ. Possessing a CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Part-Time position availability needs to be 7am-10am and/or 2:30pm-5:30pm Monday through Friday

What You'll Do

• Able to sit on the floor, kneel, bend, squat and crawl
• Able to lift 35 lbs. or more
• Able and willing to change diapers, clean up body fluids
• Arrive on-time, prepared for work.

• Prepare and assist with snacks and lunch.

• Communicate program concerns with the immediate supervisor.
