We are seeking a Daycare Teacher to join our team to care for children at our facility. The position offers a unique opportunity to positively impact children’s lives in an exciting and fun environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being on their feet for a large portion of the day and able to provide active play for children.

Duties
- Greet every parent or child in a cheerful, upbeat and joyous manner.
- Plan, organize, and implement "Learn through Play" instructional curriculum in a Christian learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
- Create age‑appropriate lesson plans and incorporate handwriting, crafts, games, hands‑on activities, field trips, and daily homework to support the curriculum.
- Maintain a small group by monitoring the children's safety.
- Be able to lift, pull, push, or hold 20-30 pounds.
- Establish classroom rules and behavior procedures.
- Enforce all student administration policies and state governing rules.
- Report physical or developmental problems that may require further attention.
- Update parents via email, school app, or telephone.
- Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines and recognize and document allergens for each child.
- Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the facility and its parts (e.g., bathrooms, classrooms, kitchen).
Requirements
- High school education required.
- Background check required.
- 2 years of professional childcare experience (preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Social Science.
- Comfortable working with 2- and 3-year-old toddlers.
- Ability to open and/or close facilities periodically.
- Daycare training certificates.
