Job summary

Ipswich Public School District seeks a Long-Term Substitute Infant Room Assistant Teacher at Tiger Tots Learning Center in Ipswich, MA. The position runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:45 PM with an immediate start through mid-December, at a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

You will support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing environment for infants, including feedings, diaper care, and supervised activities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants or young children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, warm demeanor.
• Ability to pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom management and care routines.
• Prepare and give bottle feedings according to individual care plans.
• Handle diaper changes and maintain a clean, hygienic environment.
• Take infants on walks around the school premises.
• Engage infants with age-appropriate activities, play, and developmental support.
