Job summary

Godine Early Learning in Newton, MA is seeking a Certified Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher to join a passionate team of educators. The role involves collaborating with lead teachers, creating age-appropriate lesson plans, and documenting development using COR Advantage.

A strong focus on family communication and a nurturing learning environment is essential. The position is full-time, 12-month salaried, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Requires EEC Certification or eligibility and willingness to become certified immediately.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of supervised relevant work experience.
• A.A. in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead/co-teachers and director to develop a high quality program around observations supporting children's development.
• Implement developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum with the team.
• Document children’s interactions and experiences aligned with best practices and policy.
• Maintain an organized, vibrant classroom environment focused on health, safety and age-appropriate experiences.
• Communicate with families and provide regular progress updates and newsletters.
