Job summary

Needham Public Schools Early Childhood Center in Needham, MA seeks a Substitute Preschool, Infant & Toddler Teaching Assistant for the NCE Early Childcare Program. Experience with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers is preferred, with a focus on safety and supportive classrooms.

You will assist teachers and the director, lift up to 35 lbs, and engage children aged 3 months to 5 years both indoors and outdoors. The role follows the school calendar with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience with Infants/Toddlers/Preschoolers preferred, but not required.
• Ability to make decisions to ensure student safety.
• Willingness to take direction from teachers and director.
• Effective written and verbal communication; good interpersonal skills.
