Job summary

Magical Beginnings Learning Centers in Massachusetts seeks an Infant Teacher to nurture and support the development of infants in a licensed childcare setting. You will provide responsive care, engage in developmentally appropriate activities, and partner with families.

The role requires Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification and previous infant classroom experience. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, with weekly payroll and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification required.
Previous infant classroom experience preferred.
Ability to create a nurturing, safe environment for infants.
Strong communication with families and teamwork.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Providing attentive, nurturing, and responsive care for infants in a licensed childcare setting.
Supporting infant development through sensory activities, tummy time, and language-rich interactions.
Following individualized feeding, sleeping, and care schedules for each child.
Maintaining a calm, safe, and engaging infant classroom environment.
Building strong relationships and open communication with families.
Maintaining classroom cleanliness and safety per MA EEC regulations.
Supervising children at all times with proper teacher-to-child ratios.
Collaborating with fellow teachers and leadership to support team culture.
Assisting with diapering, bottle prep, and daily infant care routines.
Contributing to a warm, patient, and development-focused classroom culture.
