Job summary

Connections Child Development Center is seeking an Infant Lead Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate care for infants and to work closely with the Program Director to uphold licensing standards and family trust.

You will document milestones, communicate with families, and help maintain a calm, organized classroom environment while participating in ongoing staff development and trainings.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly with families and colleagues.
• Experience or coursework in early childhood education is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, responsive, individualized care supporting infants' development.
• Follow safe sleep, feeding, and diapering procedures per licensing standards.
• Maintain caregiver-to-child ratios and supervise the classroom.
• Create a clean, organized, calming learning environment.
• Observe, document, and report developmental milestones and daily activities.
• Complete daily reports and communicate with families.
• Follow center policies and guidance from the Program Director.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development.
• Immediately report health, safety, or compliance concerns to the Program Director.
