Job summary

Qualifications

• Passion for early childhood education and fostering development of preschool-aged children.
• Excellent communication with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Creativity and resourcefulness in designing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a well-structured classroom.
• First aid and CPR certifications required and must be kept current.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that sparks curiosity and supports children's exploration.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans promoting cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe and valued.
• Plan and facilitate activities including arts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play.
• Assess children's progress, document observations, and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to provide a cohesive educational experience.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in early childhood education.
