Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. The ISCU role focuses on providing safe, compassionate neonatal nursing care and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team.

You will use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate each patient's plan of care and mentor assigned unlicensed personnel. Requires IL RN license and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Education: NLN-accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Certification: BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider (AHA) required.
• License: IL RN license in good standing.
• Experience: 1 year acute care or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care in ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team for optimal outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
