Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. in Elk Grove, CA is seeking Associate Teachers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.

You will facilitate diverse activities, support social-emotional development, and ensure constant supervision in a healthy, safe environment. This role requires teamwork, clear communication with families and schools, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 12–24 postsecondary units in ECE or related field with passing grades of C- or better.
• Associate Teacher Permit or above issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
• Experience in group care environment preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children’s interests and promote positive development.
• Create, implement, and maintain enriched, supportive learning environments age-appropriate for all children.
• Provide excellent customer service by establishing authentic connections with children, families, schools, and center team.
• Keep children healthy and safe by ensuring proper supervision, healthy habits, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to provide high-quality programs and a positive workplace.
