Job summary

Gryphon Oakwood in Indianapolis is seeking an on-site Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects and own delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

You will manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and coordinate HVAC, piping and plumbing scopes while working closely with superintendents, field teams and clients to maintain schedule and quality. This role offers visibility across an established contractor with a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience within commercial or industrial mechanical construction.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, piping and/or plumbing systems.
• Experience managing project financials, forecasting and change management.
• Ability to work effectively with field construction teams.
• Strong communication, organization and client-management skills.
• Experience delivering large or technically complex projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of mechanical construction projects.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost control and financial performance.
• Coordinate HVAC, piping and plumbing scopes.
• Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain schedule and productivity.
• Manage procurement, subcontractors, change orders and project documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors and project stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and resolve issues before they impact cost or schedule.
• Support projects from preconstruction and handover through closeout.
