Job summary

Gryphon Oakwood seeks a Project Director to lead mechanical construction projects in Raleigh, NC. The role manages project performance, schedules, budgets, and teams across HVAC, piping, and related systems, ensuring client satisfaction and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management, with strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with PM software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent demonstrated construction management experience will also be considered.
• Experience with construction management and project management software including Microsoft Office and Procore; Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Viewpoint, and Autodesk are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project performance and ensure projects meet financial goals and report to leadership.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, owners, GCs, vendors and subs.
• Lead teams delivering complex mechanical projects from award to completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with design/engineering to establish execution strategies, scope, and plans.
