Job summary

Wake Technical Community College’s Industry Trainer, Biotechnologies Division, is a twelve-month faculty position based at the RTP Campus in Morrisville, NC. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in life science, regulatory or related field.
• Five years of experience in cGMP/cGLP environments with aseptic techniques, cleanroom, or manufacturing.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Valid Driver's license required by college liability policy.

Responsibilities

• Instructs courses in aseptic processes, gowning, cleanroom behaviors and related content.
• Develops lecture material and course modules for diverse clients and formats.
• Delivers hands-on and industry-specific training as SME in aseptic processes, cleanroom operations, biomanufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Oversees adjunct industry trainers and lab personnel, including hiring supervision and scheduling.
• Collaborates with Customized Training Directors to determine industry training needs and execute course delivery.
• Researches and develops class activities and laboratory exercises; develops certificate programs.
• Responds to training requests by creating appropriate solutions; plans roadmap with management and industry clients.
• Maintains relationships with industry representatives and participates in conferences and advisory boards.
