Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience working in a biotechnology, bioagriculture, biopharmaceutical or biomanufacturing environment with SOPs, cGMP, GLP.

• Master's degree in related discipline (preferred)
• Teaching or training experience in biotechnology or related fields (preferred)
• Experience with technology and software, including BlackBoard and Canvas as well as laboratory or production software systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Instruct courses in Biotechnology, primarily BioWork and continuing education.
• Coordinate with NC BioNetwork and NC Biotechnology Center to develop materials for current regional trends.
• Tutor students and assist learning biotechnology concepts.
• Handle grading, attendance, testing, and syllabus creation.
• Create and maintain lab environments and activities; deliver virtual instruction via Blackboard/Canvas.
• Attend to office hours and participate in college/department committees.
