Job summary

Rothschild & Co in New York’s Industrials Group seeks an experienced Associate to deliver advisory services to domestic and international clients. You will work with a close-knit team on live transactions, gaining substantial client responsibility and opportunities to mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a top-tier corporate finance adviser or investment bank with M&A execution experience, and strong analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional work experience in corporate finance advisory/investment banking.
• 1-2 years within a top-tier corporate finance adviser/investment bank with prior M&A execution experience.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute live deals in Industrials including M&A, debt/equity advisory and related processes.
• Draft client pitches and marketing materials.
• Oversee financial modelling, valuation, comps, and sensitivities.
• Conduct extensive market and company research and analysis.
• Lead transaction execution from due diligence to final memos and coordination of resources.
• Coordinate due diligence with external advisors and manage analysts.
• Participate in client meetings, industry conferences and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance and confidentiality.
• Contribute to Rothschild’s firm culture and development efforts.
