Job summary

Ledgend Group, on behalf of a leading global M&A advisory firm within a major international bank, seeks an Investment Banking Associate in its Industrials group in New York. The role involves executing buy-side and sell-side transactions and leading deal teams to close complex engagements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in investment banking or an MBA with post-MBA IB experience, strong modeling/valuation skills, and FINRA licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of investment banking, corporate finance or M&A experience at a top-tier firm, or an MBA with post-MBA investment banking experience.
• Industrials investment banking experience strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation and accounting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions from pitch through close.
• Build and maintain financial models, including operating models, DCF, LBO, merger and accretion/dilution analyses.
• Prepare CIMs, management presentations, pitch books and board materials.
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with clients, counterparties and advisors.
• Supervise and develop analysts on deal teams.
• Support senior bankers on business development and client coverage.

Ledgend Group is conducting a search on behalf of a leading global M&A advisory firm, part of a major international bank, for an Investment Banking Associate (Associate 1 or Associate 2) to join its Industrials group in New York. The team advises corporate and financial sponsor clients on sell-side and buy-side M&A across capital goods, environmental services, industrial technology and multi-industry sectors.

Responsibilities

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $225,000, plus a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
