Goldman Sachs in New York seeks an Associate to join the Industrials-focused Investment Banking Division. You will develop financial models, support client presentations, and assist in structuring a full range of transactions, while expanding your client relationships and industry knowledge.

Associates gain exposure to mergers & acquisitions, fixed income and equity issuances, and coordinate cross-functional teams to close deals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' investment banking or equivalent experience.
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions.
• Previous Industrials sector experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and strengthen client relationships and participate on advisory teams.
• Create and analyze financial models and organize client presentations.
• Help manage transaction processes and assist in structuring transactions.
• Gain exposure to firm businesses and develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills.
• Coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys and bankers; lead due diligence and participate in negotiating legal documentation.
