Job summary

Rothschild & Co in New York is seeking an experienced M&A professional to drive live deals across multiple sectors and support cross-border advisory services. You will oversee financial modelling, valuations and market analyses, while leading teams and coordinating client pitches and materials.

The role requires a strong background in M&A, finance and leadership, with fluency in building long-term client relationships and delivering high-caliber advisory outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred prior M&A experience at an advisory firm or investment bank.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills to develop models and valuations.
• Ability to lead and build teams across geographies.
• Ability to develop long-term client relationships and expand business.
• Experience leading client presentations and managing projects.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of financial and regulatory environments around M&A.
• Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute live deals across multiple verticals including M&A and related advisory services.
• Oversee financial modelling, valuation analyses, and market-specific analyses.
• Spearhead analyses for strategic alternatives, acquisitions, and capital markets events.
• Draft client pitches and marketing materials coordinating with internal and external resources.
• Conduct economic, industry and company research and analysis (quantitative & qualitative).
• Manage analysts and oversee multiple work streams.
• Attend client meetings, industry conferences and external trainings.
• Ensure compliance and confidentiality in all activities.
• Support firm culture, recruitment, and staff development.
