Job summary

Safran Seats USA is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support assembly and fabrication operations, analyze seat flow, and lead process-improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to drive lean practices and optimize line balance for higher productivity and quality.

The role requires a BS in IE/ME/EE, 0–2 years of experience, and proficiency in data analysis and office software.

Qualifications

• Time and motion studies to optimize assembly and fabrication.
• Analyze production data to identify waste and bottlenecks.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Balance lines and cells to improve throughput and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to leads and operators in assembly/fabrication areas.
• Analyze parts and seat flow to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Conduct time/motion studies and propose improvements.
• Balance lines/cells and implement procedures to support process improvement.
• Participate in Lean, Set-up Reduction, 6S, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Apply data analysis to improve factory layouts and flow.
• Assist in creating standard work instructions for factory personnel.
• Participate in training of shop personnel on updated processes.
