Job summary

Safran Cabin in North America, California is seeking an Industrial Engineer 3 M/F to lead industrialization on cabin programs. You will develop plans, manage BOMs, routers, and standard work instructions while collaborating with Design and Manufacturing teams.

Required: Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years in regulated environments with 1+ year technical leadership, CATIA V5/SmarTeam, ERP, and Lean Belt certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in highly regulated engineering design or production environment; at least 1 year in technical leadership.
• Computer Skills: ERP systems proficiency; CATIA V5 &Sm arteam; Microsoft Office.
• Other Skills: Lean Belt/Black Belt certification; aerospace OEM experience; knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes in aerospace; ability to read complex drawings; proficiency with LEAN tools; strong communication and time-management; CNC machining, Layup and Crush Core knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct others and provide solutions to complex issues for Cabin industrialization deliverables on new programs as part of the integrated program team.
• Develop and execute industrialization plans in accordance with Cabin standards and program goals.
• Create, update, and improve the production element of the industrial dossier, including BOMs, Routers, and standard work instructions.
• Contribute technically to Design and Manufacturing teams to optimize production processes for each product type.
• Support DFMA discussions and propose alternative designs based on DFMA knowledge.

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
