Job summary

VisiConsult - X-ray Systems & Solutions GmbH in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair industrial X‑ray systems at customer sites, with on-site, remote, and phone support. You will travel up to 100% within the U.S.

and internationally as required by the role. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, system upgrades, and on‑site customer training while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 2–4 years hands-on field service experience in industrial/electrical systems, pref. X-ray or NDT.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagnostic documentation.
• Proficient with MS Office 365 and common software tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial X‑ray inspection systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
• Provide on-site, remote, and phone‑based technical support to customers.
• Conduct customer training and system acceptance testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; complete service reports.
