Job summary

Hurricane Consulting Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder, Combination, Maintenance to perform welding operations for maintenance and fabrication/repair of containers and equipment at Fort Bragg, NC. Work includes following AR 750-1, MIL-STD 3037 and manuals, with PPE and safety as priorities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two years welding/maintenance experience, AWSD1.1 certification, and ability to pass a NACI background check. Must be able to work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• AWSD1.1 certificate is required.
• Must be able to pass a NACI background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Welds ferrous and non-ferrous metals including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Fabricates or repairs components like machine parts and shipping containers per plans or work orders.
• Operates GMAW, SMAW and GTAW welding processes.
• Follows blueprints or layouts and maintains safety and PPE standards.
• Able to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
