Job summary

Carlton Industrial Solutions is seeking a Service Technician – Industrial Weighing to help keep customer operations running safely, accurately, and on track. You’ll work in the field on weighing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customers stay productive and steadily moving forward.

This is hands‑on work with independence and frequent customer interaction. You’ll install, calibrate, repair, and service equipment, document notes, and participate in on‑call rotation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical understanding.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT/customer requirements.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.

• Flexibility—schedule varies and may start early or run long.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, repair, and installation on industrial weighing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete service calls safely and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with customers on findings and next steps.
• Document your work (service notes, time, and results).
• Identify and address safety risks on job sites.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle.
• Support team and customer needs as they arise.
