Job summary

Carlton Industrial Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and installations on industrial weighing equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems while traveling to customer sites.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, safe work practices, and collaboration with CIS service and sales teams to identify upgrades or service improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or technical training in electronics, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Experience with industrial weighing equipment or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to document work clearly using digital tools (ERP, CRM, service dispatch systems).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and installations on industrial weighing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
• Plan and execute service calls efficiently, ensuring safety and correctness.
• Communicate findings and next steps with customers clearly.
• Document calibration data, service notes, timekeeping, and customer sign-offs.
• Support equipment installations independently and as part of a team.
