Job summary

Carlton Industrial Solutions is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to keep customers' industrial weighing equipment running safely, accurately, and on schedule. You will be the go-to person for fixes, calibration, and installations, building strong relationships with clients in the field.

Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, and documenting service notes, with travel up to 25% across CIS territories.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with basic electrical understanding.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet DOT/customer requirements.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.
• Customer-first mindset and flexibility with scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, repair, and installation on industrial weighing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete service calls safely and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with customers on findings and next steps.
• Document work with service notes, time, and results.
• Identify and address safety risks on job sites.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle.
• Support team and customer needs as they arise.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and overtime as needed.
