Carlton Industrial Solutions is seeking a Service Technician specialized in industrial weighing to perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and installations on weighting equipment at customer sites in the Columbia, SC area. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, plan service calls, and document all work with precision.

The role rewards independent problem-solving, teamwork when needed, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required; associate degree or technical training in electronics, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment.
• Comfort working in different environments and customer locations daily.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and installations on industrial weighing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
• Plan and execute service calls efficiently, ensuring work is completed safely and correctly.
• Communicate findings, next steps, and service plans with customers.
• Document calibration data, service notes, timekeeping, and customer sign-offs.
• Support equipment installations independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and company equipment according to policy.
• Identify safety risks on job sites and mitigate hazards.
• Collaborate with CIS service and sales teams to support customer relationships and upgrades.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and overtime as needed.
