Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer with 4+ years of consulting experience to contribute to design projects across the United States. This hybrid role involves working on industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, with opportunities to mentor staff and participate in the full project lifecycle.

You will apply treatment technologies, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, perform field testing, and support startup and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and preparing process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans, and other technical deliverables for a variety of industrial water projects.
• Field work will be required, including surveys/data gathering, construction quality assurance, inspections, bench- and pilot-scale treatability testing at client sites or in our lab.
• Assist with system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff.
• Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings.
• Manage projects as necessary to meet both client and Arcadis’ expectations.
• Supporting business development including proposal preparation and meetings with clients, and travel as needed for meetings, site visits, etc. (up to 25%).
