Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer with 7+ years of consulting engineering experience to lead design projects across the United States, with hybrid work and occasional international assignments. The role emphasizes process design, field testing, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include developing process drawings, specifications, and reports, plus mentoring junior staff, field data collection, and supporting business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
• Master’s degree in engineering or related field focusing on wastewater treatment.
• Professional engineer registration in one or more states.

Responsibilities

• Develop process designs and deliverables for industrial water projects.
• Conduct field surveys, data gathering, QA inspections, and bench/pilot testing.
• Assist with system commissioning and startup, including staff training.
• Prepare client presentations and technical reports.
• Manage projects to meet client and Arcadis expectations.
• Support business development including proposals and client meetings.
• Travel as needed for meetings and site visits (up to 25%).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering

Master’s degree in engineering or related field focusing on wastewater treatment

Professional engineer registration in one or more states
