Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Industrial Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to lead and support design and implementation of water treatment projects across the United States. You will perform calculations using Excel and Mathcad, develop P&IDs, specifications, and O&M manuals, and mentor junior staff.

The role includes field activities, design drawings, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, with opportunities for travel and career growth within Arcadis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and preparing process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans, and other technical deliverables for a variety of industrial water projects.
• Field work will be required, including surveys/data gathering, construction quality assurance, inspections, bench- and pilot-scale treatability testing at client sites or in our lab.
• Assist with system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff.
• Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings.
• Manage projects as necessary to meet client and Arcadis’ expectations.
• Travel up to 25% for meetings, site visits, etc.
