Job summary

Equipment Depot is seeking a field technician to diagnose and repair electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and/or construction equipment. You will read work orders, communicate with customers, perform mechanical repairs, and ensure safety standards are met on each job.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills to access work orders and log hours.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order and observes truck to diagnose malfunctions.
• Performs mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
• Records repair details with model and serial number on the work order.
• Communicates with customers on repair needs and outcomes.
• Examines safety devices and lubricates moving parts; tests repaired truck.
