Job summary

Equipment Depot Inc. seeks a skilled technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and equipment. You will diagnose issues from work orders, perform repairs, and verify operation after service, while keeping detailed records of models, serials, and hours.

Interaction with customers and timely paperwork completion are essential. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and up to three months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school or GED is required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals, and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders and observes trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Offers solutions and provides estimates when appropriate.
• Performs mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
• Records repair details including model, serial number, and hours.
• Obtains customer signatures and communicates repair needs.
• Inspects guards, bolts, and safety devices and makes adjustments.
• Lubricates parts and tests repaired trucks for conformance to specs.
• Represents Equipment Depot to customers and maintains professional image.
• Tracks service van maintenance and coordinates with operations or service manager.
• Returns paperwork daily and submits time cards by 9:00 a.m.
