Job summary

Ranken West in Troy, MO seeks an Industrial Technology Mechanical Instructor Adjunct for evening classes. You will teach Industrial Technology coursework, manage the classroom, and help develop the curriculum two nights per week (T/TH) to support student success.

Ideal candidates hold an AS or BS in Industrial Technology or related engineering, demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, and show hands-on skills with fasteners, hand tools, measurement, and mechanical assemblies.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• AS or BS degree in Industrial Technology or related engineering field.
• Understand different types and uses of fasteners.
• Understand basic hand tool and precision measurement skills.
• Understand basic mechanical component assembly and trouble shooting.
• Align machines using chain drive, v-belt, and direct coupling methods.
• Show proficiency with centrifugal pump systems including; pump assembly and installation, black iron assembly, and various valves.
• Mechanically inclined and experienced with mechanical repairs on industrial equipment.
• Computer literate in MS Office.
