Job summary

Qualifications

• AS or BS in Industrial Technology or related engineering field.
• Three+ years of industrial technology experience.
• Teaching experience at community college/technical school preferred but will train.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to assemble, repair and troubleshoot hydraulic circuits.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing industrial equipment.
• Experience with HVACR systems and equipment preferred.
• Experience with millwright and rigging fundamentals.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach courses two evenings per week, 6:00 - 9:30 pm plus prep time.
• Instructs and evaluates students in live industrial maintenance environments including shop safety.
• Maintain a safe worksite and enforce safety standards.
• Assist in maintenance of lab and classroom equipment.
• Assist management with curriculum development, scheduling, budgeting, and hiring.
• Participate in college governance, committees, and advising.
• Engage in training to stay current in Industrial Technology.
• Support industry standard requirements.
