Job summary

DGI Supply is seeking a Technical Sales Rep to grow an established territory and customer base. You will develop relationships with engineers, maintenance, and purchasing to identify needs and drive new business opportunities.

Responsibilities include building a robust pipeline, making consultative sales calls, presenting solutions, generating quotes, negotiating terms, and closing deals while traveling within the territory. Total compensation target is $100k-$150k.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience.
• Metalworking/industrial/MRO experience required.
• Strong business acumen.
• Proven track record in meeting sales goals, new account acquisition, account retention and account penetration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and retain existing customers and open new opportunities to achieve sales goals.
• Drive profitability within the region and grow the opportunity pipeline.
• Perform consultative selling, call on engineers, maintenance and purchasing to identify needs.
• Generate quotes, negotiate terms and close deals with customers.
• Travel frequently within the assigned territory and build long-term relationships.
