Job summary

AMSOIL Industrial is seeking a motivated Technical Account Specialist to support customers and sales reps in the Detroit area markets. You will troubleshoot issues, monitor equipment and lubricant performance, collect samples, and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.

With 3+ years in account management or technical sales, you will engage customers, gather requirements, and communicate value of AMSOIL Industrial solutions. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business related field.
• 3+ years in account management, technical sales or customer support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to troubleshoot and gather information.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with industrial customers and prospects.
• Serve as a trusted partner by understanding goals, challenges, and technical needs.
• Support sales growth by promoting AMSOIL Industrial products and identifying opportunities.
• Develop understanding of industrial applications and communicate value to customers.
• Act as liaison between customer accounts and internal teams including Business Development and Product Development.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to support strategies.
• Manage account activity and sales opportunities using CRM tools.
• Lead and support projects contributing to territory and account growth.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
