Advantage Technical is seeking an experienced Industrial Structural Engineer to design foundations, supports, pipe racks, and platforms for critical industrial facilities in Houston, TX. You will develop calculations, specs, drawings, and material take-offs ensuring code compliance and safety.

The role requires 8+ years of industrial experience and proficiency with STAAD.Pro, RISA, SAP2000, RAM, AutoCAD, or Revit, with EIT/PE preferred. Occasional site travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• 8+ years of industrial structural experience.
• Experience on industrial, manufacturing, petrochemical, or data center projects.
• Proficiency with major engineering software.
• EIT or PE certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Occasional travel to project sites (<5%).

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for industrial facilities including foundations and supports.
• Develop calculations, specifications, drawings, and material take-offs.
• Ensure designs meet building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process, and project teams.
• Review vendor drawings and resolve technical challenges.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and planning.
