Job summary
TX Industrial is seeking a Structural Design Engineer with heavy industrial experience to design steel and concrete structures for cement plants, mining facilities, and similar projects. You will develop calculations and drawings from concept through construction, working with project engineers, clients and field teams.
The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (Master's is a plus) and 5+ years in heavy industry, with knowledge of AISC/ACI/ASCE 7, and proficiency in STAAD.Pro and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of structural design experience in heavy industry (Mining, Metals, Cement, Power, Oil & Gas).
- Proficiency with AISC, ACI, ASCE 7; experience with STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures for heavy industrial facilities.
- Develop design calculations, drawings, and specifications from concept through issued-for-construction.
- Collaborate with project engineers, clients, and construction teams; support RFIs and field reviews.
