Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging seeks a Business Development Manager to grow our industrial storage and project buffering offerings across the Gulf Coast. You’ll work with engineering and operations to design storage solutions into projects from the outset, expanding our reach in petrochemical and port sectors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial sales, a related Bachelor's degree, and strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to travel extensively in the Gulf Coast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, logistics, supply chain, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in business development or sales selling complex services to industrial accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Gulf Coast region.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue industrial storage and buffering opportunities across the Gulf Coast.
• Develop a dedicated pipeline for storage and preservation of mission-critical equipment.
• Position storage and buffering as risk mitigation and schedule protection.
• Build a pipeline of prospects across EPC contractors, energy and petrochemical owner-operators, manufacturers, and port-related businesses.
• Engage early in project planning cycles to design solutions into projects.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
• Coordinate with other Barnhart branches to deliver network-wide solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project management to create customized proposals.
