Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an Industrial Solutions Engineer to work directly in manufacturing facilities, deploying AI and IoT solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability. You will collaborate with plant teams, engineers, operators, and IT/OT professionals to deliver measurable improvements and scale solutions globally.

The role combines hands-on engineering, industrial technology, and customer engagement, with strong growth potential in a fast-growing segment of manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, production, processing, or industrial environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with plant operations, industrial equipment, instrumentation, or control systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to customer facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support deployment and implementation of AI and IoT solutions at customer facilities.
  • Partner with production, process, quality, and engineering teams to drive technology adoption.
  • Assist with hardware installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with customer IT and OT teams to ensure successful system integration.
  • Analyze operational and sensor data to identify insights and improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor during pilots and implementations.
  • Support training, troubleshooting, and ongoing success initiatives.
  • Work with internal teams to improve deployment outcomes and expansion opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with plant operations, industrial equipment, instrumentation, or control systems
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to customer facilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with industrial automation, Industry 4.0 initiatives, or smart manufacturing technologies
  • Exposure to PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, or IIoT platforms
  • Familiarity with IT/OT environments and industrial networking
  • Experience analyzing operational, sensor, or time-series data
  • Process optimization or continuous improvement experience
  • Previous startup or fast-growth company experience
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge
