Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC is partnering with a fast-growing startup in Boston, MA to hire a Forward Deployed Engineer for on-site deployments three days a week. You will engage directly with global brands on Industry 4.0 and AI-enabled automation projects, shaping real-world factory improvements.

You will gain deep exposure to industrial automation, cloud integration, and data-driven optimization, while developing client-facing and technical leadership skills in a dynamic startup

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or factory environment (food & beverage, chemicals, pharma, etc).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customer stakeholders.
• Exposure to industrial systems such as PLCs, sensors, or plant operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Deploy on factory floors with customers, troubleshooting and implementing solutions.
• Coordinate pilot deployments and project activities with internal teams and customers.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to ensure successful deployments and customer satisfaction.

We’re working with a fast-growing, venture-backed startup based inBoston, MA that is transforming industrial manufacturing through AI and IoT-driven technology. This is a full-time opportunity for a Forward Deployed Engineer supporting deployments across the Food & Beverage sector. The company is building cutting-edge AI co-pilot models and sensor-based solutions that optimize factory performance, reduce waste, and drive sustainability across global production environments. 3 days per week onsite.

Required Skills & Experience

Daily Responsibilities

• 60% Hands On (on-site deployments, troubleshooting, implementation)
