Job summary

ABB is seeking an Industrial Segment Product Director to lead the ELIP Industrial segment product management team in North America, developing multi-generational plans, pricing, and profitability for ELIP product lines.

Preferred Memphis, TN hybrid work arrangement with remote options and 40% travel. The role reports to the VP of Product Management and requires extensive leadership experience in industrial markets.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years in Product Development and/or Sales in industrial markets.
• Demonstrated leadership of product teams and cross-functional collaboration; SFDC and SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive industry segment strategy based on VOC and market trends.
• Maximize gross margin and optimize price/margin/share/sales.
• Set targets for volume, pricing, portfolio mix; align with business plans.
• Oversee inventory and sales volumes to meet customer orders.
• Lead product management team; collaborate with R&D on roadmaps and feasibility.
• Manage ELIP Industrial segment P&L; drive margin growth and cost improvements.
• Identify portfolio M&A opportunities; communicate value proposition externally.
