Job summary

Leidos is seeking an accomplished security leader to serve as Business Area Security Manager, Industrial Security, supporting DoD/IC customers. You will lead a dispersed team, oversee security for classified programs and facilities, and ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, SEADs, and customer policies across locations.

This role requires collaboration with program and executive leadership, guiding security professionals, and enabling high-value classified programs while managing risk and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant security leadership experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• Experience leading CPSOs, CSSOs, FSOs and other security professionals.
• Demonstrated experience managing security operations across multiple programs, facilities and geographic locations.
• Strong knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and ICDs/SEADs.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead a geographically dispersed team of industrial security professionals for multiple facilities and contracts.
• Provide security oversight for contracts, ensuring compliance with government and customer requirements.
• Mentor and evaluate CPSOs, CSSOs, FSOs, and other personnel security staff.
• Serve as trusted security advisor to leadership and customers.
• Interface with government customers to ensure proper security posture and program compliance.
